Wolong Gang is said to be where Zhuge Liang, reputed as Mr. Crouching Dragon, live in seclusion before he serves as Liu Bei’s chancellor. The scene here represents the well-known story of “Three Visits to the Cottage.” During the winter of 207 and the spring of 208, Liu Bei, with his generals Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, paid three personal visits to Zhuge Liang, who was then leading a cloistered life, in a cottage in Wolong Gang, Nanyang County. Liu visits Zhuge Liang in pursuit of his cooperation and finally succeeds in recruiting Zhuge as his chancellor.
