The Incense House is the imperial harem of Sun Quan where his consorts live. The first floor has a main hall where Sun Quan meets his ministers and courtiers, while the second floor lays out the scene of the episode “Liu Bei and Sun Shangxiang’s wedding.” The furnishings in the bridal chamber have inherited the style of Han Dynasty. The turtle before the wedding bed represents good luck and longevity, while the painting of wild geese symbolizes their loyalty to each other.
