As the main hall of King Wu’s Palace, Dragon Hall is where Sun Quan, the King of the State of Eastern Wu, administers his state affairs. Built on a slope, this grand and magnificent building has a multiple-eave hip roof, the highest class of roofs in Chinese ancient architectures, supported by thick columns and huge arches. The layout of the hall is composed of sections of protocols, state affairs and wedding ceremonies. The decorations are mainly in colors of back and red, which represent fortune and happiness.
